Yes, if you look at the pictures, most people wire their packs this way.

Is the Racers Edge servo horn everyone is using the normal horn? Or is it a special model?

I use the one from Serpent. It's an exact replica of the plastic one only aluminum. if you scroll back a shit ton of pages you may see where some others have used a Losi horn. It has a higher stand off. The Stock plastic one will work for awhile. Just be sure an go easy on the end point adjustments.

OK guys I'm new to 8th scale buggies I've had my serpent 811be for about two months now keep in mind I'm not a racer and I have beat the crap out of this thing and haven't broken a single part yet but I'm getting pretty confident in my driving and jumping skills . I'm not use to a kit of this caliber what I need to know is what needs to be maintained on this kit because I live in a sandy area and I'm worried about bearings and normal wear and tear I just need a good idea of what to check and when because I'm gonna attemp to race my local track

I have had mine for 2 years and barely broke my 1st plastic stock servo horn. I had an old aluminum std Racers edge horn I put in there and it worked fine.

Also what name brand bearings ceramic or not? I don't have a ton of cash lying around so I need good bearings on a budget if that's even possible.

I just built my kit and raced this weekend.Very good buggy! Handled and jumped great! My only complaint is I can not get my motor mount to slide smoothly. I can barely move it at all. How can I free it up?

I have same the same exact issue. Someone help on that !!!! Just built mine a week ago as well, 1st race this weekend buggy is awesome. A serpent rep told me to run 15k, 15k, 10k diffs as I have the new updated gears? Anyone else run this. And the shocks felt a little spongy with the stock oil, a lot of roll and pitch. Was going to try maybe 35wt front 30rear. ??? This thing is great on the track right out of the box

Does the 600004 have all the upgrades like the nitro version? Are the front and rear of the car the same as the nitro.. Diffs arms and such?

some people dremel some part of the mount but I don't know where and don't want any slop if I do too much. I loosen one of the front screws (outer) that hold the slider to the motor and then it slides right out. That diff set up sounds about right for the updated gears. Are those updated diffs now in the newest ebuggy kits?
