Is the low roll center toe block an aftermarket piece? What springs and pistons are you using?

The LRC is an option part . I use serpent 6 hole tapered piston drilled to 1.4 purple front and white rear springs with 40 front AE and 32.5 rear shock fluids

I just picked up my 811be! I dont have the 0.1mm shims for the diffs though. It only came with the 0.2mm shims.

IOP if your familiar with FL tracks it's for Mills Pond in FtLauderdale. I don't go by the instructions for shimming the diffs. I found it WAY To tight . people will tell you it will break in and it may but I don't buy it. To tight will also cause premature wear IMO. I don't mind if they are a tiny bit notchy but will still roll. you can always add shims later If you need to take up driveline lash

Is there a good video on how to seal the towers? I have been told loctite works better but am unsure about the exact process.

Of you can keep building and not waste your time LOL the serpent towers are thickest I've seen. Seen a few serpent towers snap off but never de laminate which is all the CA is meant to protect. It's a seriously outdated trick that people used to do with on road carbon chassis because side impacts racing would split the carbon on the super thin 2 and 3mm thick chassis.

I've had 4 serpents over the years and never had a carbon tower split from not having CA. I've never broke one either but again seen others do it

I wouldn't know. Haven't bought an 1/8th scale new in the last 5 years. I always buy someone's second hand crack head priced car when they decided they must have the latest flavor of the month. Currently it's an Xray avalanche happening in South Fl

A converted nitro verse a 811BE big difference. Buy the electric version you will be more content verses a conversion. Serpent developed a true E for a reason Performance.

The guy who runs our local race program used to run an 811e. He has recently switched to an RC Monster converted 811 nitro car. He swears it's faster, more consistent and more stable. I can't deny that he is flat throwing down brutal fast laps with it. It does use the ginormus 4s packs. If I were in your shoes with a spare car I'd seriously consider that route. my .02' s

To wire the 2 packs in series can I make a wire that goes from the negative on 1 battery to the positive on the other battery? Then have the wire I plug into the ESC come from the negative of one battery and the positive of the other battery?
