Yes, if you look at the pictures, most people wire their packs this way.

I use the one from Serpent. It's an exact replica of the plastic one only aluminum. if you scroll back a shit ton of pages you may see where some others have used a Losi horn. It has a higher stand off. The Stock plastic one will work for awhile. Just be sure an go easy on the end point adjustments.

OK guys I'm new to 8th scale buggies I've had my serpent 811be for about two months now keep in mind I'm not a racer and I have beat the crap out of this thing and haven't broken a single part yet but I'm getting pretty confident in my driving and jumping skills . I'm not use to a kit of this caliber what I need to know is what needs to be maintained on this kit because I live in a sandy area and I'm worried about bearings and normal wear and tear I just need a good idea of what to check and when because I'm gonna attemp to race my local track

I have same the same exact issue. Someone help on that !!!! Just built mine a week ago as well, 1st race this weekend buggy is awesome. A serpent rep told me to run 15k, 15k, 10k diffs as I have the new updated gears? Anyone else run this. And the shocks felt a little spongy with the stock oil, a lot of roll and pitch. Was going to try maybe 35wt front 30rear. ??? This thing is great on the track right out of the box
