My reventon pro just got here time to get it hooked up so I can try it out tomorrow.

ok guys i'm looking to put together a 2wd buggy. probably a B4.1 with a 8.5 or 7.5 motor. can u tell me the motor limit on the Reventon S, R, and Pro please? I really dont use boost so thats not really a big deal.

and what software should I download to the esc when I get it? i'm guessing I would either need the Reventon R or Pro???

if you go there then click the "compare" tab and the tab to to the right of that you can see all the good info. but its 9.5 - 5.5 and 3.5 in the the order you listed the escs

so the RR comes with the LED Program Card.this card can still download different software or do u need to upgrade to the LCD Card to download? What software is recommended for 2wd buggy 8.5 and 4wd buggy 6.5?

you are correct. i ordered the pro because i wanted the lcd box lol. i had the old lcd box with my gt2.1 and just didnt care much for the the led one. and i think the software thing is simply just clicking the button a 2nd time on the program on the PC. 99% sure both boxes work the same, run the program and plug in the box and load which ever software you want in the esc. you would load like mod1 or stk1 or whichever and then thats the only one thats in the box (99% sure) . then to change back to like stk0 or another setting you have to link it back up. its super confusing reading here. once i had mine in my hands and messed with it , it was very easy to figure out navigating

I really appreciate all this info bud! so u think i'm better off just getting the Reventon series esc? i was looking at the GT2.0 LPF which can handle 5.5 motors which would work in a 2wd and 4wd it seems like. only rsn why i'm asking is that its $50 cheaper than the RP and the RR is out of stock and have I have no idea how much it even is lol

i think stormer has them. like $65 . im not sure about the GT . i went with the new stuff because its the latest they have. and will prolly get the attn with new software and stuff

and the RR and RP both stock 1 software compatible(Hybrid Boost) confusing thing is that theres 3 different PDF files? yeah its 3 different profiles settings you can load into it i believe. someone else would have to suggest what one. i think each one is a little better for different turn motors . and the r and pro both support the same profiles .just different current draw and programer box is all i can figure out. i almost got the r . but wanted the other lcd box instead of the the led that comes with the r

ok i'll have to look into that some more. wow what a great deal on the RR. I saw it on Stormer hobbies. well thats a no-brainer then lol looks like i'll get the RR over the old GT2.0 LPF that cost more.

Thinking on the Reventon R for mod buggy with a 8.5 thanks to Erce^ telling me about it, good choice? Does the Reventon LED programming box come with the R version? If not, can someone post a part # please.....thanks

the S R and PRO all do. just the pro has the LCD other is a LED display

so that LED programmer and my pc at home are all I need to alter esc settings correct? I mainly have ran LRP sxx in the past....sorry for the silly questions.....thanks for the help.
