SC10 4x4 Thread
well ordered the coupled clutch since i needed to spend another $6 to get over on free shipping on amain lol.
even says should be here saturday, so ill try it out on sunday if the weather holds off and family stuff doesnt interfere.
i think the coupled, ht pad inside, 19t front pulley will really help this truck outdoors. i tried the exotek clutch but didnt like that it was no slip, made the truck feel very inconsistent, but still loads better then stock inside pad.

Keep in mind I was using it with the exotek locker as well. Not sure what I am going to go with but am going to practice all day on monday and play with some more setup.
I am not sold on overdrive being "the" setup for the tracks I run on but did find that I was able to drive it as easily as the exotek alone, or just the VTS slipper and standard inner pad.
That is what I thought too, so i tried it. It jus didn' want to track very well at high speeds. Cant explain it, and maybe i had something else messed up at the same time. Its just the experience i had in practice, I havn't trashed the idea completely it just need some more work on my truck.
Dude... I see more people taking stabs at WC than a fat kid in Jr High! WTF!! If you don't like or agree with what he has to say don't say anything at all. You are why this thread is so full of BS! NO MORE!!!!!!!!!
+1 I dont always agree with WC. But some people are being a bit mean. He is trying to help people and does not really bash anyone. He is just an AE true believer. maybe even a zealot. But he does not seem like a bad guy.
Craig is the reason???? Are you serious, where do you think it stems from? Its ok for Him to do it but no one else?
sigh..
anybody tried the new jconcepts 3D's? they are looking very versitile like you could run em in a few different types of track conditions. i bet they are great for my track when they get nice and worn in. (hard clay indoor)
