Getting to the front now, but the gear box screws are correct... I say that now

Pinion is fine. I've never stripped a spur on this truck so that stuff is all good. I did change the spur for a new one for the hell of it.

Seems to me that it's coming from the front, got it on the straight when they were watering so it was just me and I could stand next to it and listen.

If all else fails I will throw new gears in but this is not the original set. Been months since replaced so who knows, maybe.

It's not the metal sound of gears though. I recognized that immediately when I first got it and didn't know to limit travel and got the cone shim and gear clicking that follows. It's different.

I got the same. New belt, tensioners maxed out, still making that sound when accelerating hard. Gets worse when I loosen the tensioners, so it's definitely the belt.

Hmmm. I need this to go away. Too anal retentive to allow it to just be. Just about done with the front, all plastic gears in the gearbox look good. Sun gears look good.

Fresh clicker, fresh tensioner wheels & bearings, fresh belt, new spur, diff bearings, threw salt over my shoulder. If that doesn't get it I'm stumped.

Can someone at least point me in the direction of some centered stick mods?

When running blue front springs in the rear, what shock oil/pistons do you run with them?
