so i would suggest taking your transmissions apart and cleaning them and checking belt tension as well as the tensioners.

even too tight of gear mesh can make it feel sluggish too.
agreed I have my belt at the end positions on the most loose setting and it works great.

With pinion off your truck should roll 15 feet with a slight push. If its too tight your truck will handle like its pulling a trailer behind it.

If it's too tight your truck will also want to swap ends while transitioning off throttle to braking.

I have a friend that needs a new ESC for a 4.5t 550 motor or higher.
I would not recommend anything from hobbyking. get a tenshock sc411 sensored motor and tekin rx8. spend it now or spend it later.

100-120 for a roller, maybe 140 for a FT. you can get $200 is you have the exotek chasis on a ft. but they are very hard to sell. I am just gonna race mine till it dies. as I cant sell it for more than $100

Yea man, I don't think i've ever seen anybody bitch as much about their truck as you have.. Seems after a few weeks everybody get theirs moving in a positive direction or sells it. Mine is pretty badass.. I just couldn't get any more out of it, so I decided to try a Durango. I truly can't say anything, but keep workin on it or try a different truck. Some people just don't have a driving style condusive to a SC10 4x4.. Mine was crap outta the box.. But I read the thread.. and listened, and read.... and read ....and read... The people on here that actually know what they're talking about helped me bring mine to a very high level.

I have no problem giving mine to my son. He loves to drive it. Anybody that drives it loves it, and thinks it pretty damn good.

Somebody said god gave us two eyes, two ears, and one mouth.. It means look and listen more and talk less... Oh and that's not directed at any one person on this thread

I can 100% say I would've thrown my truck against a brick wall until shattered into small pieces if it were not for this thread. EVERYTHING that I picked up here let me move my truck forward. If you can wade thru the B.S., there is more useful knowledge available here than anywhere PERIOD!
