The blurb says it's designed for 1/12th scale but it doesn't say if it has a voltage booster...

I run 10.5 exclusively and my car is always in the range of 55 - 60 mmpr depending on track layout. It seems you need to go up a couple of teeth and switch any braking effect OFF in the ESC.

different models for 4 cell and 5cell/lipo so one for 1/12th / GT10 and one for TC/buggy (if there is a saving on weight etc)...

Colin, the 10.5's are much the same, go with whichever takes yout fancy, I have the Orion Vortex and it's as good as any other.

Might be an idea to "match" the ESC and motor if you are buying both...

Colin, a 4.5 in a 1/12th is not a car, it's an uncontrolled missile!

Here in the UK the TOP (and I mean TOP) drivers seldom run a 4.5. The best use a 5.5 or a 6.5 - and our tracks are fairly big....
