Do you have any time scale for this ESC yet Terry? I know you need to take your time to get it right, but just wondered if you have any idea when it might be?

Accurate AMP ratings will help lol. I really hope I don't see 1000A cont. and 5000A bursts lol. Just joking.

Well, a lot of people will want different things. I for example love HV and to many it doesn't make sense, but to me it does. I like to keep my amp draw low so I can use smaller capacity packs or cheaper 10-15C packs. Many if not all, will want a small ESC (I don't mind the size, you should see my 1/8 scale ESCs they are huge lol). I really hope to see a nice ESC from you. I know your brushed ESC are amazing.

Small, powerfull, reliable & waterproof.

I doubt the last one applies to the US market

I'll pre-order one if that helps, I'm sick of trying to encase my Nosram ISTC

uuuum, how about:

no need to support brushed motors (brushless only)
different models for 4 cell and 5cell/lipo so one for 1/12th / GT10 and one for TC/buggy (if there is a saving on weight etc)
adjustable timing
remove need for an external capacitor (esp 1/12th!)
auto temp display on switch off (led flashes once per 5 degrees C - count to check temp)
lipo voltage regulator built in

How about something that is

a decent size smaller is better but not on the risk of compromising quality.
and at a great price.
something very effecent. an internal cap would be great. , heck, what about a small fuse on the side like an automotive fuse. I've seen kids at the track accidentally reverse the polarity. and then the white magic smoke.

I know it sound simple and weird for a safety option like this. but not break my heart is when a new racer come in and accidentaly blow his speedo cause of a roockie mistake. I know i've done it once. by accident, I was in a rush.

yeah a usb port for updates.

Ability to handle a single cell lipo without the need for a booster circuit. Sorry I didn't read all the way through the thread though so if it was mentioned already consider it a second request.
