lock tight

before using lock tight make sure you clean out the hole w/ motor spray to get the oil out used to drill the holes! thats why your screws loosen up!

It does take a little work on setup, I raced at the Desert Classic 18 last month and w/ some local help we had a setup that was dialed for hard packed dirt high grip.

mod motors less than 1/8" - stock 1/8" or little more. remember new belts will stretch a little (5-6 runs) check again! once you got it set right and check when doing reg maint belts last a long time...

I just tried the 2 gear rear diff, it was excellent! felt better w/slipper delete than the ball diff. Now I do run 17.5 so load is not an issue! 4K oil rear diff.

You have got the right person in Phil for Schumacher anything +. I use tit screws everywhere except the bottom screws securing the rear trans area! stainless steel there and steering post as well....

try going heavier on your shock oils 35 frt- 32.5 rear. trim outside row of spikes half way down on the rear if you still have an issue. or up half wt. frt/rear shocks! that my opinion.

I have been running the KD since it came out! On all type of track conditions even carpet, buggy was excellent! Well a bit touchy on carpet I must say! But on med to loose dirt awesome buggy!

Primes

Saw the thread and it just so happens I used Primes on my K2 (13.5) at my local carpet track med grip, and after a sway bar change I had a controlled 4wheel slide into corners, great forward traction...
