due to lack of an redline motor I'm running a speedpassion 4.5T/3.5T and I have a lot of brakes. Actually run them at 80% on the ESC and 80% on the TX.

yes, i can double that. The wheels are rigid and lightweight, and have a perfect fit for Sorex tires (you should get the high-rib version of the wheel)

No, you won't need a fan or a case mod in 1/12th scale. This is only needed in rather demanding conditions like mod sedan with < 4.0T and hot weather.

with a 3.0T Vortex?? I'd say with a LRP and a 14mm Rotor this FDR would be OK, but the Vortex has a 12,25mm rotor, thus higher RPM. BUt anyways, I have to play around more with gearing and timing ;)
