what would be a good FDR to run with the 7.5 in an on-road. Im currently running an 8.30FDR & i feel its a little on the slow side. im thinking a low 7 - high 6 would be nice, but i may have to run some fans to keep the vortex happy.

Does anybody have some sort of knowledge when the new range of the 08 vortex's will be released? I will be getting a new 7.5 & on tower it still says order pending...

I run a MI3.....
On our track which is a medium-sized (85x50) indoor asphalt track, yesterday practicing I ended up at a 6.4FDR. Temps through the vents on the motor were in the 165-170 degree range. This motor is pretty impressive.

isn't this the gearing recommendation for the old vortex? The 08 version has a much smaller rotor and needs different gearing.
