I have a zx5 fs2... and yay for me! Spare parts 4 evah!

Truth to tell, the zx5 was a super nice car to drive. The original had some durability issues:
* c-hub and front hub was super weak
*...

Maybe it's not about winning

I don't know about others, I do enjoy a good race, but I abhorr car damage... Especially for vintage car classes.

For me, enjoying racing with mates is my fun. A win for me is ending the day...

I feel compelled to buy everything!

personally, I think tamiya's move away from factory sponsored driving team is good for the rc hobby.

Question about shock lengths for link driven shock designs

As in the tenth technology predators and the most inspire,

Does shock length even matter?

Doesn't the link and bellcrank provide whatever shock kinematics the suspension require? This should...

By that logic...

if 2 belts is better then 3 belts...
then you should definitely go with 1 belt...
And if that's not fast enuff , go with zero belts>>> get shafted!^^

How inneresting...

Odd that this couldn't be achieved with a big ass idler in a 3 gear setup..
the distance from Topshaft to diff seems similar to a 3 gear.
but I'm just keyboard speculating... of cos...

More importantly....

Does this new pillow ball type suspension mean a ta09 is coming over the horizon? The ta08r has just launched, and the r models tend to be the last of a model iteration... unless tamiya does a rr......

Front one way clutch

Hiya folks,

Seems a front one way clutch is all the rage for high grip astro and carpet tracks in shaft drive buggies. I've always thought this gave the 4wd buggies a feel of 2wd buggies (ala...

Wheeew

It's super fun, although the stock tires only work on loamy dirt and grass.

Does anyone know if AE'S 13mm big bore shocks fit on the bbx, and which sizes for the front and rear?

Thanks lots!

M06 love

I love my m06 too... but the plastics are just so brittle...
Also, if tamiya made it easier to change droop on the m06, it would really help drivers love it more.

Hhhhmmm...

these bbx rims sound a bit different from the typical touring car rims and non- acetonable buggy/truck rim's. (When you tap it against each other).

But I guess the only real way to know is to...

Hiya folks,

Does anyone know if the bbx wheels can be reused? Like will it survive an acetone soak?

Thanks for any input.

Maybe...

Or for thr sake of racing... just keep it to 2 gp classes: 1/8th gp and 1/8th gt.

No real need for 1/10th tc/gp/235...

Just look at how 1/10 gp stadium trucks have gone the way of the dodo......

Er...

There is nothing scale about on road cars...
Be it gp, gt, 1/12, istc, gt12, 1/10 gp, 235mm...

None of the bodyshells remotely resemble a car anymore...
except maybe... f1?
