Yes it will fit, and no, that isn't geared all that high for an unboosted 17.5. Some go as high as 34/75, which is too tall IMO. 32/78 is right down the middle.

And nobody said anything about being impressed with fancy...

My +8 car is better than my short chassis in every way. Handles bumps better, jumps better, is more forgiving, and is more stable. All of that, and the car still turns on a freaking dime.
