Yes it will fit, and no, that isn't geared all that high for an unboosted 17.5. Some go as high as 34/75, which is too tall IMO. 32/78 is right down the middle.

And nobody said anything about being impressed with fancy...

I think you have that backwards... the fragility of the B4 and the slop developed in the car will lead to higher spare parts sales. The more durable cars being developed today last MUCH longer...

My +8 car is better than my short chassis in every way. Handles bumps better, jumps better, is more forgiving, and is more stable. All of that, and the car still turns on a freaking dime.
