buy new or used?

Guys,

Have a look at this link...he offered me 125 for the roller and parts lot.
Just want your opinion...know in the end its my call. Or should I buy the new kit?

Anybody having trouble getting the wheel hex adaptors to fit on the roll pins. Slots in the adaptors seem to be too narrow.

The 14x2 was fast, too...he's been running old mod brushed motors until now. The same thing happened to him though the first time he ran a lipo with the Cyclone and 14t motor though

I bought the hex adapters and axles, but I have a question. It seems like they make the car wider? Anybody measure it? I am guess the skinny adapters go in front and big ones in the rear. Just curious.

i cant figure out how to put the front hexes on the car, i have the front axles, the actual hexes and sc10 steering hex block(w.e it told me to get to make the conversion work on amain) it seems the front axle is thicker than stock, i couldnt figure how the hell to put it together, the rear i got fine tho

Not sure, I'm just going to use the plastic ones until Proline/Jconcepts has their clamping aluminum ones.

This is too funny! I just found some old ones in one of my parts bags last night and tried them on the rear hubs. They fit just fine! Visually they look really close in size, if not the same, to the AE plastic hexes.

I ran it on the track today at lunch time and had no problem, either.

I'm going to compare them with my digital calipers tonight and get an exact number.
