Never tried in on the xray but my previous cars it did make it easier to drive mid out. I will say to test without it. The car is very easy to drive all around. The track I race low to mid asphalt.

Its not the servo. Mine does the same thing. If you loosen the screws you can adjust where the servo mounts there is play. You will have to take the servo mount out to adjust it but it will fit...

Have you taken it off and checked to see if it is truly bent? There is enough room for adjusting my servo up and down or crooked in the servo mount especially if the screws come loose.

The only time you need to raise the top deck is if you take the 4 screws around the spur gear out. This will allow for more flex and allow the top deck enough clearance when it flexes.

The smaller spurs keeps rotating mass down. Also it allows the motor to be move farther back shifting the weight more to the rear of car. It is a tuning option to move the motor back and forth.
