TC Gearing
#1

So I've been checking out gearing in the setup sheets for the Associated TC6/.1/.2 and i've seen mainly 76-78 spur, highest i've seen was like an 86. Curious, is a mid-low 70s spur faster than something in the 90s? I'm just wondering why they run that. I know you can obtain the same FDR playing with gearing but i can also feel my car being faster w/ 64 pitch opposed to 48 pitch. Just wanting some input.
Thanks in advance.

check out the latest setups and the use of mid-high 70 spur gear. i'm just wanting to know why would this be used opposed to the high 80-low/mid 90 spur gear. that's all
my car works great as it sits speed wise with the 94 spur gear i'm just curious as to the usage of the 70s spur gear, that is all.
