Yeah the Losi looks like they had HW make them a sensored version of the Firma 130A, so probably similar to a Max10 140A, and the Kyosho appears to be a cut down Quicrun 8BL150 or 10BL120.

You were using a 4s battery? The default LVC setting on the Lasernut is 3.0V/cell, if you drove it until cutoff it would be at 12.0v (and then bounce back some probably to the 13v range once the load...
