Sounds like the motor is fried. They say it is waterproof, but it's more accurately to say they are "Splash" proof. Luckily, those motors are not that expensive.

You can also get a new separate receiver and ESC. However, personally, I wouldn't put any more money into this car. I would get a hobby grade unit.
