Suddenly, the more expensive FASST receiver become less favourable with 4PX.

The only place that had them up and should have them up again fairly soon is Banzai Hobby:

Banzaihobby.com

You can setup a notification for when they are on stock.

In the 4PX screens I see a receiver ID in the T-FHSS mode. Anyone know if the T-FHSS receivers go into fail safe if the transmitter is on a different model using a different receiver ID? With the 4PK a given model slot will control any FASST receiver bound to any other model slot as long as it is the same FASST version (i.e. C1). That's less than ideal when you have two classes back to back and you want to have both cars plugged in ready to go.

I think I get what you mean, and with my 4PLS, if I change model in the TX, the corresponding receiver glows green all my other RX in range and on glow red and don't respond. All of them being T-FHSS receivers, but not all being in T mode.

I expect the 4PX will be same.

Cool. Sounds like they figured it out with the T-FHSS receivers. Good info. Was really surprised that it did not work that way with FASST receivers.

All these is abit confusing.
Is Futaba doing away with "FAAST" as their so-called 'premium' protocol?

Also, the advertising states this is now 30% faster than the 4PKSR. Is this with T-FHSS or with FAAST?

It sounds like in terms of speed it's now S-FHSS -> FASST -> T-FHSS

Probably, my guess, the t-fhss is less expensive, perform equal or better than FASST
and there is no compatible receiver to this t-fhss yet

Well I can confirm the R603FS Fasst rx and the R603GF FHSS rx (2pl 2.4) do NOT work with the 4px

R614 is fine

Throttle trigger is huge, and manual is in Japanese so I can't make head nor tails of this lol

Got mine this morning!
Great design, a little lighter than my 4PK and weight balance optimize. I already prefer the feeling of this one.
Shiny parts are really expose to scratches but the finish is better than the 4PK, absolutely no plastic play, chrome finish is nice, switches are better too, two toggles in the box and life battery.
I'm really happy with it even i don't use it on the track!

add: work with R304SB-E, R614FS and R2104GF from my old 3PL. Ultimate finish detail, just see it, no ugly screws hole on the "back" truly reversible!
