On that M3.5 screw - you could try the local Fastenal Store in your area... they have a 12MM length and 16MM length... Part numbers are 11507874 and 11507875 respectively - you could take the 16mm and grind it down and run a nut over it to clean the threads up... they could transfer some from one store to your local store maybe...
