No news yet, can't wait. I was just about to upgrade to the 4pksr. Now I'm going to wait.

If the response time is faster than my m12, I would give it a try. But please no external antenna. It's awful. Can't go back my tx with it.

Found this on a Japanese site. Looks like the new 4PX won't be FASST.

I don't think so, the new 4PX isn't FASST, its actually FHSS which i was under the understanding is slower. Also the price point is crazy. It going to end up being 690ish dollars? Is futaba crazy?

Not if people buy it. And people will buy it.

Futaba has an airplane radio (14MZ) with a street price of three thousand dollars!

This pricing thing happened before when the 4PK came out and then all of it's predecessors. Don't worry about the price yet.

I'm betting it's just a higher end 4PL. 3PM, then the 3PMX. I'm betting they're just following that pattern.

seems like it will handle both Rx. This is good news. It's like they got the PK and PL and fused it together. I've been putting off upgrading to the 4pk since I had so much Rx for the 4pl.

If it can handle both and has a nifty color LCD screen, then its probably Futaba's next flagship radio, and not a mid-tier model. The 4PK is a great radio, but a bit long in the tooth having been out since 2008.
