Do Speed Passion Pro1.1 ESC and R1v11 motors like each other as I replace my old SP MMM motor with the R1 and now I get a delayed start off the line and sometimes it will stall for a second then take off again when doing laps.

Sounds like a sensor issue.

Nope, fixed it by replacing it with a LRP ESC

I'm after abit of help with my reventon stock spec esc, basically it has very weak brakes like you can barely notice any stopping power.

Is there away to program braking strength? I understand there's a program box that SP sell but I thought the stock spec couldn't be programmed? Appreciate any help thanks.

You can manually change some settings without an programming card.

Any idea what size bearings the V3 motors use? I gotta pick up some replacements.

Nevermind.. they're 1/8 x 3/8 x 5/32.

Any idea about the V4? The same?

Ordered some new motors. Been running my current V3's for a few years now. Figured it was time to get some new ones. I prefer the V4's but, for the price, you really can't beat the v3.

Many have had this issue in blinky mode.. What I've heard someone do is set it 100% brake level and then turn it down on your radio

I could never set it to a level I liked in 21.5t touring car so ended up just using this esc for my basher

Default Programming Reventon S

I have a Speed Passion Pro 1.1 and have downloaded the software and have been able to make changes using the computer and programming box (SP_Reventon_PC_Program_v1_1_0_25). I have a couple of new Reventon S ESC's now. Can I use the same programming Box and Software version? Can I change the firmware? Are the options/firmware the same or do I have to download something different? I noticed it appears their website has been hacked as it now looks like they are selling shoes....

All Reventons all use the same PC interface.

Just found this thread and am a little intimidated by the almost 400+ posts. Was wondering if there are general reviews of the Blaze speed passion motors compared to other brands like castle, tacon, etc...? Wondering about quality, heat, etc...

Since the site still seems to be down, anyone know of a way to get downloads for the ESCs?

Check the other thread named exactly "The SpeedPassion Thread" and go to page 880. Someone posted a dropbox link to the last release. Older software can be found on page 867.
