corr truck 4wd

I got the prevention pro 1.1 and the blaze 4600kv set up in my losi and its pretty darn good!!!!!!! I TQ in the first qualifier and reset tq in the 3rd qualifier and took the win in 4wheel corr again!!!

This is a lite weight system compared to the tekin rx8 and there motors. I am using a trakpower 7200mah 80c lipo with deans plug and nothing is warm or close.it seems like the tekin stuff over powers the truck and tires. And the speed passion system is perfect. It doesn't blow the tires off the truck, it puts the power down instead of spinning them. Smooth on power!!!!

I'm interested in doing this in my grandson's SCTE but I only have a Reventon Pro 1.0. Does anyone know if this will work?

Can anybody comment on the performance of the reventon pro 1.1 with a v3 motor for 4wd buggy?

Yes i have ran the 1.1 with a V3 comp 5.5 and 6.5 motor in mod buggy setup is very good.. I have yet to find anything to deliver smooth power like the Speedpassion

1.1 Pro was just put in this weekend after running the Reventon R for the last 3 months. I dont know how or why, but the 1.1 and the 17.5 v3 really woke up! I mean the reventon r was fine but this 1.1 was noticebly more powerful. Running stock blinky profile in a b5m. The 7.5 v3 and Pro 1.1 in my 44.3 is insane. I dont run any timing in the esc and turned the ddrs punch way down, ridiculously fast and smooth. Great braking as well.

Hold on tight :P That's a pretty stout setup...depending on your track I might only run 80-90% of that power by turning it down on my radio. Might play with DRSS somewhere at 6-8 depending on traction. 5.5 is a fast motor and hits harder so trying to smooth it out to be able to fully utilize the power is key.

Nexus what is your suggestion for 2wd sct? Track is a hard clay with decent grip. Fairly tight. I was thinking of the pro 1.1 with a 9.5R. Would you suggest the 9.5 or the 10.5?

I'm a fan of the 9.5 on smaller tracks. For the most part, I think a 9.5 in SC can be run just about any size track when geared right. The 17.5/13.5/10.5 all kind of get grouped together as what people call "spec" motors. When you get into 9.5s and lower it's kind of different.

trying to get this to work again.
it worked perfectly first time and was able to connect no problem, update firmware and settings.

since then, it refuses to connect to the ESC - and therefore can't read the ESC or do anything else.

further, it cannot upgrade firmware - it will start the process, but then show the 0%-100% tatus bar, but never make progress.

I've reset whatever settings can be reset on the module. I've tried with or without the RX connected. I've reset neutral point.

I really want this to work to help dial in the best motor timing I can and so that I can practice with reverse and go back to blinky for racing.

Everything updates fine with a computer and the programming box.

Reventon Pro, Pro 1.1 and S. None of them are working with the BLuetooth anymore.

All firmware on the app have been updated.

Thanks :spidey:

I would go back and connect via your PC first...in Safe Mode if you have to. Then start the process again using your Bluetooth from the beginning.

Nice...for sure that setup is gaining popularity because of the power and weight :)

That is/was more or less the standard everyone from customers to Speed Passion Pros have been running. Now the V4 mod motors are out some people have switched. But the V3 is plenty capable and usually discounted at a price much lower than a V4.

SPEED PASSION IS PISSING ME OFF.

I bought 2 NEW ESC/motor combo's Reventon Pro 1.1, One with 17.5 other 10.5
One reventon and 17.5 works great, the other reventon was messed up out of the box. You have to Push the car to make it move. I changed everything so it was the ESC. The dealer sent it back 7 weeks ago, no word on warranty yet. So that one car down for 7 weeks.

The 10.5 motor started glitching first night. It took me 2 nights to find the problem after changing everything in the car. It cost me 2 arms, 1 shock tower, and 1 MIP rear axle before I found the problem.

I'm afraid to try to send it back cause it will be to late for our season.

I was going to convert all my cars & trucks to all SP But with the Warranty issue draging out I'm re-thinking.

The one I have running I love, I've won 6 A-main back to back last weekend I got second cause i messed up on last 30 sec.

With the pro 1.1 how do you tell its in blinkey mode for stock.

If the car is in neutral the esc will blink. You can plug in a programming box and see what your running. Stock0 profile is "blinky"

Is the GT lpf esc really suitable for 4x4 buggy ? Are they still around ? They dont seem to be on the speed passion website here.

It's the same specs as the standard GT ESC, but in a lower profile. It can handle down to a 5.5 if I remember correctly. You just need to find a SP or HW programmer card and you're good.

I have one of my NIB Reventon Pro 1.1 listed for sale if anyone is looking :) PM me.
