I have a stupid question before I spend the money. When I get the yellow sensor board it automatically adds 30 degrees of timing to the motor?

No when you put the yellow board on it has a range from 21 degrees timing to 30! Be very careful you go to much to the 30 degree side and you could burn up the motor! I just put the yellow board in with my 17.5 and have it at about 24 degrees if timing and this thing is fast! Comes off the track at about 145 degrees that's great for a 6 min 17.5 buggy main!

Oh and the only stupid question is the question not asked!

Thanks! It's going in a 17.5 and I check temps all the time. The help is very appreciated.

So I looked on the SP website, twice I will add, and couldn't find the stock0 firmware for blinky to load on my new Revention R. Can someone post a link for this? Please and thank you.

When you download the PC software "Reventon PC Program with USB Driver V1.1.0.23"

http://www.speedpassion.net/files/SP...v1_1_0_23b.zip

It will install the necessary application on your computer. When your ESC is connected and you select change Firmware, one of the options will be Stock0.

So for clarification......

Can you make adjustments to the Rev Club stock via the computer (not changing the software, but rather fine tuning Blinky) or are you limited to only using the LED prog. Box?

Momo

No...it cannot, the computer would not recognize the ESC. You can only adjust the parameter with the LED or LCD card.

Actually, YELLOW BOARD is adding extra 31-40* timing...Green Board is the one adding extra 21-30* timing.

You should see a software called r-stock0-V20 within the interface V23, that is the BLINKY software for Reventon R.

zeakemedia 10-31-2013 12:15 PM

Thank you very much. I will be getting the green board then. No need in burning the motor up. Gonna give this blinky thing a try for once.

They should work great.

I have raced with a Short Course, VTA and USGT car with Stock Club Race ESCs. If I remember right a previous USVTA Scale Nationals winner ran the Cirtix Stock Club Race in his XXXS G+ and won that race. The Reventon Stock Club Race works just as well.
