Ok so you have reversed the throttle in the radio and reprogrammed the esc again for the throttle epa and neutral???

Sounds like your missing a step somewhere cause we have ran this ESC on multiple radios and never had a problem with getting the motor to turn the correct direction.

I have a Reventon Pro using stock 0 software for 17.5 blinky buggy class. When I first turn on the esc, the leds are normal with the red blinking and the amber solid. However, now when I get done with a 6 minute heat or practice, the red and amber are blinking alternately like a train crossing AND/OR both leds are blinking at the same time. LVC is at 6.8, heat protection off. After a 6 minute heat, the batteries voltage is 7.9v-8.0v and the esc temp approximately 115* or lower. If I shut off the esc and turn it back on, the leds are blinking normal again. The esc functions normally with the abnormal led blinking. Brakes, throttle, and steering are all ok. I've had the esc about a year now, and the abnormal blinking just started about a month ago. I just wondered what the abnormal blinking means...

Anyone? I don't know if it's related, but tonight on the first lap of the 3rd qualifier, and during the first lap of the main, I lost throttle, but I had steering. As soon as the esc was shut off and turned back on, throttle worked..

Any thoughts about using a SP V3 with a LRP SXXTCV2 .. after a minute or so I get:
Yellow/Red
(same time) Motor Failure
1. sensor wire missing or defective?
2. drivetrain stuck?
3. motor defective (locked rotor, damaged sensor)?

I try another motor and its fine, I try the motor on a different esc and thats fine, is there a compatibility issue with the esc/motor?

Can you tell me your motor is rotating COUNTERCLOCKWISE or clockwise..? It suppose to rotate in COUNTER CLOCKWISE direction. I just read thru the 410 manual and if your motor is rotating COUNTER CLOCKWISE, your 410 should move FORWARD.

Please check your 410 manual page 34 step 21 and check the diff position...front diff should be facing DRIVER side and rear diff should be face PASSENGER side...

Your SPUR gear on your 410 MUST rotate CLOCKWISE (if you are looking from the back of the car)....according to the manual, this direction is suppose to make the car go forward.

No. You need the blue programming card.

I picked up a speed passion 17.5 v3.0 comp motor, the non mmm. I am running it in my kids tlr 22 with 31/70 gearing. It seems overly torquey and tops put very quickly. I was going to gear up, but I am not sure temp would allow that. I also turned the timing all the way up and the esc is blinky. Thoughts?

Keep going up on pinion while making sure temps don't go higher than I'd say150f max and or you max out 3/4 of straight. Some say higher on temp, but I don't like going higher personally.
I'm t 69/33-34 on a 17.5 MMM with more timing.

Anyone know if the ESC that ships with the Durango rtr's are adjustable, and if so, how? I cannot locate instructions for it, could anyone link me or scan their manual? I am interested in turning down the punch.

Cain 09-23-2013 11:59 AM

that's cool you got a torquey one to be honest. Do you know if it had the 12.5mm rotor in it Wildcat1971?

Wildcat1971 09-23-2013 12:02 PM

no idea. I geared it the same as I do my reedy's and its WAYYYYY slower, but has way more punch. It probably just needs alot more gearing.
