Try the radio throttle channel in NORMAL and REVERSE both....one of them will work. If nothing work....warranty it.

I run a reventon pro 1.1 was wondering, if Ne1 had a setup/profile to share for boosted 13.5 TC/sedan?

Thx for all of the responses. I finally figured it out that I was calibrating incorrectly (duh). I do have a slight issue now. I have a cogging problem down low end. I figured it was the sensor wire but I changed it and it still does it. I can't wait for this issue to be resolved because I drove it on the street to test it and besides the low end clogging when the car first starts, the speedo was buttery smooth

make sure your EPA on the throttle is no higher than 100%. I have seen this happen often when people accidently move the throttle epa higher than 100%. Otherwise I have no idea. My sensor cable broke during a race and it drove like it never happened. Mine is butter smooth with ot without the sensor wire. You can try another motor also. Some esc's dont like some motors. Novak in general can cause issues. I have seen the d3.5 motors do the same thing.

hi guys
i just bought a new SP revention R and 10.5 motor combo
for my sc10.2
i have loaded the latest stock 01 software into it
i have zeroed the control to the esc numerous times with and the epa's were both set to 100%

the brakes are near non operable

i have had drag brake up to 40% and brake in the esc set to custome setting at 100%
it doesn't seem to make much difference

any one got any pointers

Ditch Stock01. you don't need boost in offroad. It will be harder to drive. Load Mod2 which is smoother. How much braking do you want? You don't want to lock up your wheels in offroad or you'll spin out. The idea is to set your push brake so that it doesn't lock up and spin you out.

We have to run in blinkly mode 10.5 in Australia
So that's why I am with the stock 01
There also seems to be a delay from when I put the brakes on
Which is annoying
The radio is a futaba 4pks should I have it in reverse or normal mode
Thinking this could be an issue

Sorry I am running stock 0 for blinky
I am just used to my hobby wing esc's I have in my buggies and you can at least set your gear up so that the brakes lock
At the moment the brakes only act after a delay and and it's as if its drag brake only even with 120 EPA and 100% brake in the esc they only just lock

Where is your neutral range at? Sounds like something is off with setup. Read the manual again and start over.

ok i have started all over again
completely cleared my radio setup
reloaded stock 0 firm ware
running 2% neutral band
100% brake

the car does not stop
its is only using drag brake
with radio at 120 epa on brake and the brakes applied you can easily push the car by hand with out the wheels locking up or with very little resistance

fitted new receiver still the same problem

some times the brakes do not work at all some times drag brake only

what is your ESC setting at, not the radio, for braking force? I think it comes with like 30% preloaded and i usually change it to 50 or 60% and then change my radio epa. I think for stock i have the ESC at 60% and my radio EPA at like 83% or something along that line. Hope this helps!

Thanks mate
It's at 100%
It does not seem to make any difference what brake percentage I load into the esc it still does not brake
Changing the drag brake is the only thing that has any affect on the brakes

Brad, post your complete esc setup. Every field. There has got to be something setup wrong. Also the 4pk, is this a whole new radio, esc, and motor? Check in the radio setting, I believe you can see and set the epa. For giggles check that. I seen people set some funk parameters within their transmitter and wonder why it doesn't work no matter what they do.
When you push full brake do you get lights on? You are using the recommended and supplied cap?

I like kwiski and some bunch of others have been using SP esc for quite sometime and find their braking to be exceptional.
I have been using the Reventon Pro 1.1 for a while now. I am using it with mod2 software working flawlessly. I am installing a second in a project car soon.

So is it braking when your trigger is at nutral or when you are on the brake? Im asumming the first option! If so then drag brake is fine, i would try re setting your endpoints on your radio
