R/C Tech Forums - Speed Passion Thread

Ran my Reventon Pro and Reventon S this weekend in offroad racing. They worked awesome. Pro was in my 4wheel buggy in mod2 and S was in my 2wheel buggy in mod1. Great brakes and power is smooth.

All OFF ROAD driver need to try the MOD2 software...especially you STEVE. Hugh different then Mod1.

You have any GT2 ESC's capacitor...? I used the old one and testing mine...I just want to know does the GT2 series CAP is any better or last longer...

was told i can run my scte mip with a pro4 4600.with a reventon pro.
should i run mod2 or mod1.and is there anything i should set the esc to specific for this motor.

OK....a warning for you. REVENTON PRO does not work well on PRO4 (it willl burn the ESC)...or any 4 poles motor. However, all the testing we did are with the BOOST software. We have not try it on MOD1 and MOD2 software....without the TURBO, it might be easier on the ESC.

Since you are Subaru Tech....can I ask you STi question...LOL

I honestly think running the REVENTON PRO is actually a better bang for the bucks...it is only like $50 USD or more but you have the free LCD programmer box and the ESC will allow you to run the best software from SP with no motor limit....at least, you don't have to worry about UPGRADE 3 months down the line when you are out run by the other using the PRO ......

I have a little issue, I have a Reventon "R" and LED, and it worked well with my Pc, until I bought a (3) Pro, and downloaded the new software/ LCD. Now my Pro's work well with the Pc, but the R wont connect to my Pc any longer., but it seems to work with the LCD box though.

Hey guys.. I was digging through my stuff and found this... SP V1 Silverarrow combo with lcd card. Still sealed and never used. Would this be worth anything?

I only have a "S" in my 2wheel. There wasn't mod2 firmware for it. Mod 2 is so smooth in the Pro.
