I switched from gen 1 tekin Rs's to the Reventon pro and will not go back. My reventon is much smoother than my Rs ever was.

Just did the same thing and completely agree!!! Bye bye Tekin.

On a side note, looking to put a speed passion system into my 22 buggy. Will any of the other reventons work well besides the pro. I see they are rated to 40a, unsure if that will be enough for a 10.5 mod motor. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

You can also run the Reventon R that is rated at 70amps.

We have a couple of guys at the track running 8.5's in stadium truck on the Reventon R with no problems.

Not to hard just go online do the rma and send it in. Mine took about 2 weeks to get back.

Why did it catch fire? User error, or Speed Passion error?

I have never heard of a speed passion ESC just lighting up.

one area I wish speed passion would take the lead on, warranty length. Same with Tekin. Got 2 manufacturers offering 1 year warranties on ESCs right now, one I know for a fact that offers great customer service when I had to send things in.

To me at least, if you feel your gear is the best, why not back it up with the best warranty as well?

Anyway, off the soap box now ...

I run the Reventon R with an 8.5 speed passion motor in it.. It's great never hit over 110 degrees on hot days

Hey folks, wondering if there is a way to reverse motor direction with the reventon pro and still use sensor operation?

StupidHead 08-12-2013 11:27 PM

My apologies if this has already been answered, but is there going to be an update to STOCK0 that will resolve the problem with the Reventon1.0s not being able to handle more than 30 degrees of motor timing?

What issues are you having? Plenty of people running 30+ for a long time now. If anything make sure you have all updates software and firmware.

I have found that Reventon S in Stock0. Racing 17.5 doesn't like more than 30 degrees. This is in touring car. Haven't tried it in off road.
