Generally speaking:
Higher drive frequency = smoother more controlled power delivery = Better for modified
Lower drive frequency = more punch or aggressive throttle feel = Better for stock

My doubt is makes a lot of difference, if I put 32000 pmw, will I make it back faster?

Unfortunately, Viper is no more.....

But for 17.5 you want to run lower throttle freq like 4k. Running too high will not give any more performance, will actually make motor feel little flat.

I need a replacement fan for vtx8. Does anyone know of a direct replacement? Can't find viper number in stock anywhere. Thanks

Any 30 x 30 x 10 fan will fit and if you don't want to solder the smaller connector your old fan has on it you can run the fan off the receiver like a touring car is set up.

Does anyone know how to reverse the polarity on a Motor/ESC. I already tried swapping two of the three motor wires but that had a bad effect so I swapped them back. I guess you can't just swap the motor wires on the censored motors and esc's. I have a VTX10R and a Trackstar 9.5 modified motor. This is in a new Tamiya TRF 502x 4wd buggy I had bought years ago and just now got around to building. Its running real nice but unfortunately its backwards. Please advise....

Use the programmer to reverse motor direction.

I think it depends on what software your esc has.

I picked up a VTX10 a while ago and it had the progauge programmer with it. And no matter what I do I can't get it to connect. Holding the button after its on to try and get the red and orange leds to come on never does it and so the programmer wont connect.

Im about ready to buy a new esc so I can actually program it. This one works but Id like to check the settings it has now and tweak them. Thanks.

Are you turning the esc on then pushing and holding the button for up to 3 seconds?

Yeah I tried that and a bunch of ways of doing so. Found the manual online and tried it like that, no luck. Seems like the programmer is faulty but No where to exchange it now that vipers gone. Unless someone has a known good one I can borrow and send back to them?

Not a huge deal really, esc still works.

Power up and let it go through it’s sequence. Press power button and release. Scroll down and select connect. Bingo
