personally I think if they "hobby authority, etc' would have just a link for Viper legacy info for what people are requesting, that could help a lot.

Nope. Products are 100% different. People behind the scenes are the same. Product is all different.

Brand is no longer available. The company is actually growing with more brands being distributed. We keep monitoring the thread, because we made really great stuff. Its been discontinued for over 6 months and people are still asking questions and using it. We just had 2 drivers finish in the top 5 of CRCRC Midwest Champs and top 15 in the Invitation Class at Reedy Race of Champions with almost 4 year old design. That's reason to still support it.

so Nick, is there a way you can provide a link on the hobby authority site that stores all the legacy downloads from Viper? I think that would handle the questions being asked as most of them seem to be where can I get the last software, etc.

I use Viper esc's and I'm glad that Nikos is still supporting them. I'd take it as a very bad sign if they cut and ran and it would caution me against considering the upcoming Maclan products.

I, too, would like this as I just bought a Viper from Cain. At the very least I would like to have an electronic copy of all documentation on the VTX10R Black Edition so I don't have to worry about losing the little slips of paper docs he sent with it.

No, probably not. The brand is discontinued, its still being service accordingly - and it will be as the products do last quite well. But its out there enough that if anyone needs files or something, the contact point is me. Whether through this forum or through our website - they all come to me.

We have had more requests for VTX software in the last 10-14 days than in the last 6-8 months combined. And I try to be pretty quick in response with all the things going in (including a mini family vacation last week - sorry for the delay in answering).

I just picked up a Black Edition ESC and am on the hunt. Also, I guess I will need to take the Gentleman up on the latest software.

So I just bought this buggy with a VIPER ESC inside, it is in race only mode, does anyone know how to change the settings so I have reverse?

Yes i do, but I dont know how to use it. Profile 1 is for 4s, but its a race mode with no reverse. I want to have reverse, but also run my 4s.
