you should be able to calibrate throttle regardless if the motor is being detected (say a bad sensor, etc), right??

A Main recently bought every last motor we had in stock, maybe that is what they are doing...

No, they are still going strong. We had some good black Friday sales both on our site as well as sale to dealers -- so yes, there may be some out of stock until the next shipment comes in. You never know if people are going to like the deals or not, guess we didn't order enough this go around. More coming..

Don't think there would be any still under warranty at this point. Its been a good 10 months that people have been looking for them (warranty was 6). We do have a trade in program that could be used, if you want something different.

You can PM me if you have an issue, we can try and help you with.

you can kind of find things by searching for it via google that takes you to the pages that are still out there. It would be cool if they could create say just a legacy page somewhere with the downloads for the escs.

Really sucks about Viper R/C. I wonder what exactly the business trouble was to cause them to close. I probably bought half a dozen Viper ESC / motor combos for use by my son and I! And the Viper ESC's where the best I've ever used! I hope the stuff from Maclan is as good....

Do the Viper VTX10r ESC's have the ability to switch motor rotation via their EZ link program box? Hope someone can answer this as I have not been able to find an answer.

Thanks

Yes. Either the EZ link or the ProGauge will be able to switch motor rotation.

Not all versions of the software had the option. If it does have it. Look under MISC, Motor Direction. If you don't see it under the MISC option, PM me and I will get you the last software version. You do need to have the PC cable to do the update.
