Im glad i bought it with all the features as handy... the battery check feature should be added with the cheaper version.

Ok the system tried to boot up but stopped and the F & R would just flash i manual went and set the system to profile 5 and all is okie dokie now....lol. i guess the system just got hung up i will keep an eye on it and seen if it happens again ill keep you all informed.

ridgerunner -- What profile were you running before? I wonder if the LVC cut off was in effect for some reason. Glad its working.....

I was in profile 5 and had only ran for about 2 min, the system worked great all night going in and changing settings and all that turned off and on good i think it just got hung up for some reason, i am running a SCTE geared at 40/15 temps after our 8 min A main motor was 139 DEG. and the ECS was 103 DEG.

If the temps were low and it cut off, it hit voltage cut off, due to a spike for some reason. Look at settings, try and lower punch a couple of points and see if that helps resolve it, because of less current to pass through the system.

Hey nick. Im running the vtx10r be and a 7.5 in my scr and geared at 17/82. Still running hot any ideas. Drive train is as free as it gets and i turned down the timing in the motor.

You need to run a bigger spur gear.

Thinking you need a bigger spur like 86 - or turn the Forward Power down on the esc.

I just traded my buddy for a brand new Losi TEN SCTE Rolling Chassis and a brand new Viper VX4R.45..

What are you guys getting good results with as far as gearing with the VX4R .45? I know it's probably been posted in this thread but i don't want to sift through over 500 pages to find it lol..

Also want the Viper guys to know that i am very impressed with this system. We had it on the track yesterday and we was impressed. So impressed that i ordered the VTX8 today to try out.. It looks promising to..

Kyosho doesnt have a 86 and i feel like i have ajust enough motor if i turn down forward power im going to feel down on power

I picked up TQ and the win in 2WD 17.5 Short Course off-road w/ the VTX10 and Viper 17.5 on friday. The 22SCT was flying. Need a Viper 21.5 for my 3racing F1 car. Where can I put my hands on 2 Banners for my local tracks???

i could use some banners for pics also.. 1st day out with my new equipment and smashed the comp. tq and win in mod 2wd sc and mod truck. completely happy with the esc but gotta get this motor temp down.. in 2 weeks have a outdoor race thats in grass and its going to make things even hotter, gotta figure this out asap

also where can i find pdf's of instructions for motors and the progauge
