Bobby Z- have you tried a different motor? Does the vport show you that the lights are reading full power and full break.
Meyankee- yes if that green light keeps blinking it means the esc can not find neutral from the radio. |
Anyone have some good default race settings for a viper vtx10 with vst8.5 setup? Going to trying it out for the first time tomorrow just have it on practice mode right now. I added some drag brake and have throttle punch at 75% for practice tomorrow. This is in a sc10 with 20/84 gearing.

Bobby- if the lights are working correctly - you get a solid green light at full throttle and a solid red at full brake, its a connection issue somewhere. Cold solder joint? Bad sensor connection or wire?
JJay - seems like a good starting point. I think I ran 22/87, but I am away from my computer this weekend. |

Copper is sensorless. You can hook it up so the motor is reversed. No biggie just swap 2 wires.

Drove it on the track today for the first time the power was really good I liked it :). My motor was 170 degrees is that too hot? Im geared 20/87 in a sc10 with no added timing.

Is there a way to defalt the esc to factory settings with out pro guage

I'd love to know the answer to that. Seems like I read in the forum that "reflashing" the firmware would reset everything back to default.
