these caps aren't like the others were u need another one on the receiver. even with the stock capacitor in b44.1, i don't need an extra with a savox servo, were others need to put a cap on the receiver along with one on the speedo.

btw 21 81 on a b44.1 8.5 is a speed demon, i am just as fast as full timing 7.5 and just behind a 6.5. Got 2nd in the a with my viper setup in 4wd.

Typical time from when it leaves your house to when you get it back is 7-14 days.

Looking for some thoughts here. Ever since ive switched to the copperhead esc/5150 combo, i cant finish an 8 min main in my scte.....so yesterdays race i put in my castle 1410 motor w/ 16t to assure myself i could finish. I had tq for the day and did not wanna dump at 7 mins or so as i have been. Needless to say last lap and i dumped. Ive tried 3 different lipos that i use, 2 nano 6000 65c and a promatch 60000 60c.......ive used thes for some time and dont think they are worn out yet. Ive got the lvc set to 3.0v/cell. Is there other changes to the esc i should make? Like punch control,etc.....ive set timing to 0 already.....im so frustrated w this lately dont know what else to do except try a new lipo

Have you balanced your LiPo's lately? Do you verify that they are are fully charged to capacity. Just because they read 8.4 volts doesn't always mean teu are at max capacity.

If the same thing happen with both systems it sounds like battery? Maybe gearing down? As stated before there are a couple different factors that can effect overall run time.

Yea they end up balanced and to maxx capacity. Thats why.im like.....hmmmm....any esc settings i should be playing with? Im geared as everyone else who runs in the top of the class, they are all running rx8/pro4 setups and same lipos.......

1st try gearing down - make a jump of 2-3 teeth and see the results= run time, speed, battery length.

As for the speed control - you can try running a little lower all around with Punch, Timing and Power. Even high brake settings can cause a system to be inefficient.

Just seem strange that it happened on two different systems and the only common part was the batteries.

really silly question here but your not running lights, or multiple fans are you?

Here is the settings i have for the most part it is just profile #5 tweaked to my liking.

brake strength- 10
brake curve- linear
drag brake- disabled
throttle punch- 7
throttle curve- linear
dead band- narrow
motor timing- 7
run mode- fwd only
start power- 10
fwd power- 10
battery cut off- 3.0v

Hope that helps you some!?!

Btw i ran one of my buddies promatch 6000mah 60c lipos last night and only had to put 3500 back in there. Shouldnt be a reason you cant make a main. I would do a tear down of your truck and see if you have some bad bearings or diff gears/pins going out!!
Wow thats some high timing and punch. Im shocked w/ that gens ace lipo u can run that long....well my buddy has a new one of those lipos im gonna try to see what kind of time i get. My truck has fresh diffs and only about 6 races on it.....its all good so dont think its the truck. Just thinking its my esc. Especially when i ran the castle motor i couldnt make it. Before w/ a mmp/1410 i could do 12 mins....thx for all the input so far

I would lower timing to 3-4. All of your other settings look good

I have a brand new 10 and had same thing. If I pressed the button while @ throttle and brake it seams to one touch, otherwise it doesn't read the radio. Any info is appreciated.

I'm looking to pick up a VST 5.5 to pair with my MMP and was wondering if it could handle 3s. Anybody know?

I've checked their site and searched the forum but have come up with nothing.

The culprit is the fact that the radio is more than likely not repeating to it's neutral point. What is happening is the neutral point in the receiver is moving slightly as the battery changes voltage, so the esc is keeping up with it. That is until the voltage changes by a Volt (from a half run battery to a peaked one).

Also, if you are running allot of expo in the throttle it will multiply it.

Widening the Dead Band in the ESC can help. Also, try re-doing a calibration (make sure your brake and throttle EPA is at 100%), then trimming down 2 or 3 percent or up 2 or 3% from neutral.

Or, you can turn the car on first.
