I would try 87/18-21

Great weekend again at Motorama. I actually got back to the hotel and passed out for a few hours from all the running around and excitement.

Another great event in 17.5 classes. Neil came from bumping up to the A from the B - started 10th and finished 2nd in 17.5 SC. Mark Symka was in both 2wd and ST 17.5 A Mains. He finished 2nd in ST. I finished 8th in ST (kept getting wheel spin when I accelerated). Me and Mark we both running the Black Edition test motors. Also a great shout out to Steve JeanCharles and Chris Johns - two customers who used Viper esc's and 17.5's to qualify for the SC and Buggy A Mains.

In Modified Classes. Rob Martin was in the Mod Truck A Main. Paul Sinclair in the 2wd and SC Mod B Mains. Toddie Anderson was in the B Main of Mod Truck and won the special Car Action SC Challenge (see Car Actions website for more details). Gabriel Galeano (13th of170) was in the B main of 4wd SC and Steve Downs was in the C Main (25th of 170) using the Copperhead system.

All and all a great weekend at Motorama - Scotty Runs great events. Charlie did an awesome job on the 'clay' track side. I will try and get set up info from everyone over the next couple of days. I also have pictures and video that I will download - somewhere - when I get home over the next couple of days.

Nitro - check back I will be gathering set ups next week or so.

Copperheads a due to arrive Monday they get sent out to dealers - I will pass on more info when I get it.

VTX10 series is for 10th. First 1/8 samples should be with the test team in the coming weeks. My guess is a late spring summer release date, but it's only a guess right now.

Need a good setup for 13.5 viper and vtx10. Running b4 in blinky now. Geared 72/28. Lost my setup sheet and instead of fighting it, just been running blinky.
Thanks, just post here, or pm.

i want it to be a bit faster though. going to an even lower gear wouldn't make sense.. even it i went up to a 21t pinion how far off from 17/84 would that be?

would putting my 81t spur back on be too big of a jump?

I would love to see some of the set ups from the stock buggy guys also. I have been fighting getting more top end out of my vst. Gearing maxed out (at least as big as my LHS carries at 35/69)

Yoy MIGHT gain another 100mah or 2 out of it, but the risk of reversing a Lipo is very eminent, thus the need for the cutoff. Over-draining the lipo can cause it serious damage to the point of puffing or even venting the battery.

On my SCTE with 6000mah NanoTech's I can run almost 15 minutes of race pace with the VX4.51 Copperhead

Any shop that distributes for HRP can sell Viper Products. If you have a local shop that sells Durango or KoPropo they can get the Viper product.

Default Racing Results

Just wanted to show my appreciation to Nick from Viper.

I raced at Motorama 2012 this weekend and was seeded 13th. Spoke to Nick via email always got great assistance. Saw him at Motorama and he updated my firmware helped me with settings and went out of his way to program my radio also. After qualifying the new firmware was amazing qualified 8th in the amain was in 2nd most of the race got taken out by lap traffic and finished 7th. stock shortcourse was very competitive on the large 1/8th rough track. new smart braking was excellent for the sweeping turns.
Need more viper products in the rest of my cars. system as run flawless for me for over a year.

Thanks again Nick and Viper for providing us with a fantastic product.

Sincerely
Steve JeanCharles
