Don't have extra sensor wire checked the sensor wire it's good and plug in sung..I did cut the 3 ABC wire to motor/Esc a bit shorter because it was too long..cutting the motor wire bit shorter don't affect it right?
Also when I soldered the wires I don't have any solder bridging or touching each other everything is shrink tube..
Also this is my first sensor esc/motor I have a mmp with castle motor..will sensor motor/esc still turn without sensor wire plug to motor?
Thanks..

what setups are u guys running for 7.5/8.5's in a 2wd. Curious to see what guys are running out there in 2wd. thankss
Also im having a hard time understanding the throtte pwm?? For 2wd running 7.5 and 8.5's i like the throttle to be smooth as possible. From reading the instructions it says raising it will also generate more heat and increase rpm. Im not looking to increase rpm as a 7.5 or 8.5 has plenty of rpm. Just trying to get a handle on how pwm affects smoothness etc. What are most of u guys running with a 7.5./8.5 range? Thanks

Ok thanks for that info
Yeah I'm going to pick up one at my hobby shop when I get off work..my local hobby shop don't sell viper stuff but I assume any brand of sensor wire harness are the same as other sensor wire connectors?
Also I tested the sensor wires with a tester and it beeps so I have good connection signal going but not sure if the pins/terminals are making good contact with the motor/esc..
Thanks

There really is no harm that could be done from running too low off a Throttle PWM setting, other than the system will feel "flat"
Higher settings however will feel smoother, more linear, and more responsive, but too high of settings can cause the ESC's too get too hot.
General rule of thumb is that a higher wind motor (17.5, 13.5) can get away with lower PWM settings than lower turn motors (4.5,6.5, etc....)

Ok thanks im sure my shop has one..by the way how did you fix you issues you had just like mine? Used the gauge pro with the controller radio on or it don't matter? I read the instuctions and it said it don't matter I tried it with it on/off still won't get the motor to turn just the lights turn red/forward green/netrual orange/revers
Thanks

ohhhwee - try the sensor wire first. your issue and Rob's were a different, his was not binding, if you are pulling and pushing the throttle and the lights on the switch are responding - it seems like a sensor wire or a poor connection to the motor. So let us know after you try the new sensor wire.
Rob - I normally run 8000-9600 with mod and 4000-5000 with a 17.5, if that helps.

Bent or anything..will reset my radio/reciver and rebind by radio/gauge pro..
It's was running before when I first bind it..maybe I must of pulled something on the sensor wire or something on it when I started to put it together back on my buggy..
Thanks
