Any reason I should buy this 4 pole sensored motor over the other 4 pole sensored motors?

Price and reliability..for starters. EX other 4 pole systems have good motors but the esc is cheaply made. The viper system is good in both motor and esc. The price will also be good.

Im assuming they are gonna be sold in combo with the new speedo, so what does the street price look like, and any idea when they will hit the store shelves?

We are aiming for the $150 price range for the VX4R Copperhead System and a little lower for the VX4 System (3mm shaft, 2wd focused). No hard date yet but we are also aiming for mid/end of November. We are only offering these as a combo. The Copperhead ESC has ProGauge programmable with 5 set profiles. When I have some shots of the ESC I will post them.

Here is the R52 (5200kv)

I love the graphics and this looks to be a fantastic alternative to what's already out there. That 4500KV system is screaming SC 4wd!!! Also, very cool graphics!

The graphic is Cheesie -_- Stick to your Beefy designs as you started off with.
The 10th scale motors seems to be great !!!
I love your ESCs and their programmers.

The 8th scale 2 polers motors seems to just fail in power output.

And now cheesie graphics that seems to be printed on Paper stickers that can just Cook right off the motor ...
And then you got some of these people that cant solder worth of crap and just Burn the stickers right off also

What I would like to see is some quality CNC Motor Housing with a Nice Laser Etched graphics on the can. And ABC should be etched into the can also while we at it =D

The 1/10th scale motors have been outstanding last year. Thank you non boosted 17.5 national champ Brian Eady & his VST. We don't need no stinkin boost!

We had a few meetings about the look of the motor and should we use a sticker or aluminum. And ultimately it came down to what's under the sticker. We also eliminated soldering by using bullet plugs on the ESC, 5 profiles. Wires from the motor plug directly into the speed control. The VX4 setup is geared towards club racers and bashers. It's for peeps who don't want to spend $300.00+ on a system just to bash or only race a we times a month. Or the hard core racer who is also on a budget. The money we saved by using a sticker is spent on adding more FETs to the ESC.

Now thats looks a bit better.
So these are budget motors, w/o the Bling ?
Wires will still be coded somehow ???

More fets in the ESC ?
Will the ESC be based of the VTX10 just w/o the Sensor port ?
Or will it be a VTX10 w/o the sensor ports Plus more fets ?

Do you have any renderings of the ESC ?

AND when will ya'll redo the 8th scale motors ?

Dumb question, but can you run a brushed motor with a vtx10? Got a brushed setup in the buggy now and the speedo crapped out. I found a good deal on on a vtx10 and was just wondering if I could run it for now till i get more cash for the motor upgrade.

Thanks Eastwood! We have some very innovative stuff planned over the next year.

The new VX4 System will be on display at iHobby in Chicago this year. I posted more info about the system on the website - http://viper-rc.com/vx4.html
