Speedy problem

Hi
I have been sending emails to Weylin regarding my speedy and I have had no answer, the replacement speedy, VTX10R, I got worked when I first got it, I have finaly got around to use it in my offroad and the setting guage won't connect and the switch is not working sometimes, this is the same problem I had with the first one, the replacemant one was sent out in May, will it still be covered under waranty.

Regards
Gary

I'm defintely interested in the VX4 lineup! Looking at getting one each for my 2wd shortcourse and one for my 4wd Losi Ten-SCTE.

I would assume that the XL is a longer motor than the L...

Gary, Weylin is not longer with the company, he went back to school. You can contact Viper Tech support through the RMA link on the website or PM me your information and I will pass it to the home office. It sounds like something has gone wrong with the switch. We certainly ask it to do a lot more than a normal switch.

I think the Copperhead system will really wake up the 4x4 sct class! Finally, a tenth scale vehicle can finally be raced competitively with a 10th scale BUDGET!!!!! Having previously needing 8th scale power and expense was really stiffling a lot of talent from joining the class

I agree with you 100%, when a potential buyer walks up he doesn't bat a eye at the price of the chassis, when you mention electronics there eyes get a little big

Haha thanks for pointing out he obvious Dalton. I meant will the L have more speed because of the smaller can and the xl will have more torque? If anyone knows

JasonLee 10-27-2011 10:19 PM

How soon will the the new VX4's be available? Or is there a place online I can get them now?

You nailed it Zane, the L will have more RPM's an a little less torque than our VST XL's. The 5.0L is insanely quick but very efficient and super smooth.

Online retailers will be adding pre-ordering anytime, I've heard AMain will be one of the first, when that exact date will be you guys will have to keep checking dealers in your area.

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

I met Trey at the track the other day and he let me run one of the new sensorless "budget" systems in his Losi 4x4 SCT. I have never owned one and race 2wd 1/10 only but I couldn't believe the power that thing put down. Was almost too much for indoor and what really shocked me was the motor came off at around 120 degrees after running HARD and for around 10 minutes.

For $150 motor and speedo, I can feel Castle shaking from here!

Getting ready to run the VTX1 powered by a High Velocity 5600 60C 1S tomorrow in a boosted 10.5 WGT class at the oh so AWESOME Hangar 30 in Seattle...

Looking for some breakdowns in the settings...

The top speed timing settings has a "slew rate", no clue what that is.

I roughly set it up as close to "Tekin Schmekin" set up as I could but the slew rate threw me off..

Going to shoot an email to Trey but it is nice to discuss in here..

vroom vroom hiissssssss :tire:

Yeah that's playing in HW / Tenshock price territory while providing superior customer service and a "system" that was built to work together.

It could turn out to be the go-to instead of the MMP/1410 which would be great.

8th scale ESC

Salad, do you all plan on an 8th scale esc, picking up a 1900 buggy and 2200 truggy motor and going to run them with Tekin esc. But is there a plan for an 8th scale.
