Salad, do you all plan on an 8th scale esc, picking up a 1900 buggy and 2200 truggy motor and going to run them with Tekin esc. But is there a plan for an 8th scale.
Moving forward!!!!! |
I would recommend starting the slew rate at 8* and then go up if need be. I have mine setup at 10* in 1/12th scale 13.5 boost. The slew rate is basically like boost ramping, the higher the number the more agressive the boost kicks in but also more heat is generated. Hope that answers your question. Let me know how that goes.

Looking for some breakdowns in the settings... The top speed timing settings has a "slew rate", no clue what that is. I roughly set it up as close to "Tekin Schmekin" set up as I could but the slew rate threw me off.. Going to shoot an email to Trey but it is nice to discuss in here.. vroom vroom hiissssssss :tire: |
1/12 1s setup
I know the question was asked in here months ago, but it ever got an answer (that I saw)...can the VTX10 be used in a 1s configuration? Most of the other brands can be made to work with a receiver pack what about the Viper?
Thanks |
vtx can not be used on 1s. Salad mentioned it but i think it got passed over fast.

We have moved to 12 slot, 4 pole motors for the 1/8th scale line up. We will release the new motors with the VTX8.
Final assembly of that motor was good, but there were other parts that were just lacking for the price I paid for the motor. If Viper wanted to stick with High RPM, High Torque 2 pole motors, they should of made it slotless, with a bigger diameter rotor. Would've been a nice competitor against the mighty Lehner and Hacker 2 polers. Novak just raised the bar with their Ballistic 8. Will Viper compete with them? |
Look what came in the mail yesterday! Can't wait to give them a try next weekend!

The VTX10 will not work with 1 cell. We do have our VTX1 which is actually waiting on ROAR approval for the firmware and for me to finish the manual. :) No booster required!! http://i39.tinypic.com/9fr2md.jpg |
