Which model radio?

And to be in program mode hold the Vport button for "one missisippi" then let off. The "P", "F" and "R" LED lights will be on. Plug in your ProGauge and select link device.

Reset the model on your radio then try and recalibrate the ESC again.

i plug it in and click ok on link device and it wont read it

Its a flysky gtb3 for radio. Might pull my reciever from my futaba and see if that is the difference, got 2 receivers and 3 rides, waiting on paycheck to pick up another receiver but wanted to test the new motor and esc.

it will say connection fail if you do not put the esc into program mode.

After you turn the esc on. you need to hold the button for one second until the esc goes into program mode.

Orange and two red Leds glow then hit link device.

Ok reading the manual online it says to connect the progauge to the v port. What does that cable look like. I got mine used and only thing it came with was a female to female connector. Is there a cable that goes into the v port. If so can someone link a pic.

Jamie James 10-05-2011 03:14 AM

You need a cable with a smaller male plug on one end. That end goes into the socket on the on/off switch. The other end should look like a regular female plug ( the type you find on servo and esc leads ). I'm not 100% sure of the second one. I have not touched my 1/10 stuff since 1/8 season started.

Ok thats what i was thinking, i got a female and female connector, nothing that would fit into that slot. Ill call the kid and see if he has the right cable.

Wrong cord and those things are hard to come by. If the kiddo lost the cord and can't find it, let me know. If you pay for shipping I can send you another one.
