Still working on the sensored designs, the VX4 Copperhead is a sensorless system geared at bashers and club racers with a $149.99 price tag for the whole system, ESC and 4 Pole motor. The sensored versions will be out after the release of the VX4's.

Hey guys, I have a VTX10 8.5t combo that I am having trouble with. I got the radio calibrated and all the lights are doing the right thing, but I am getting nothing from the motor. I tried to spin the spur and I get a stutter from the motor but that is it. ESC got really hot fast trying to figure it out so I figure I would ask y'all. Any Ideas?

BSchorr 09-14-2011 08:01 PM

You either A.... Forgot to plug in the sensor wire.. or.. B... Broken connection in your sensor wire...

wingnut73 09-14-2011 08:05 PM

tried that, made sure the first was in right, then swapped for another and the same result.

This sounds simple but just to double check, take the system out, clean all connections, and resolder everything again. I know it may look correct, but I had to do the same thing with another manuf. system. It looked correct, but doing this solved the problem.

ok, I am gonna give that a shot. I will report back, as i really want this system up and running for practice tomorrow and the race on Sat. Keep the ideas coming, I am open to any!

Edit: just pulled all the wires and solder new on and the same thing. I am out of Ideas.
