M11x Does Not Have Telemetry.

The M11x does not have the ability to monitor the receiver voltage- nor receive any other usable nor perceivable data from the receiver(ie buggy).

See Eagle Tree Telemetry Systems. This may very well be what you are looking for- Quite Extensively To Say The Least. I will be buying an Eagle Tree Telemetry System at some point in time- Primarily for testing and setup purposes- in addition to a "Watts Up" Meter- in order to measure Amps- Voltage and Watt's used and peaked- durring test and setup runs. I find all this information absolutely needed when I'm setting up any RC for the first time with a motor and ESC and batteries. I find Temperature of ESC, Battery and Motor to all be valuable information- all of which can be monitored with the Eagle Tree System- Simultaneously :)

Note:
The Spectrum DX3s can only monitor the temperature of one device(not multiple), and cannot monitor the battery(In The RC) voltage- The DX3s can only monitor the Receiver Voltage- And RPM of the motor which you can choose between RPM and Miles Per Hour. I realize you did not ask for all this detail- but it came to mind- Hope This Helps :)

But does it have a failsafe function that will work if the rx voltage drops to a preset voltage?.. say i want my truck to stop when my rx batt is below 4.8V... ... BTW.. i have a dx3s but thinking of getting a 4pk or m11x...

Yes, voltage cutoff can be changed too :).

No need for foam and is thick enough that it does not move around in the battery slot.

Been thinking of buying a lipo for my M11X and sure enough, I figured I would find an answer in this thread ;) Anyone have some feedback on the vendor? I never purchased through them so I'm alittle cautious. I normally deal with A-main or Tower when it comes to online deals.

i have a m11 :D
wanna ask is it ok i just let the led back lite always on ?
will it reduce the lifespan of the LED ?
i using lipo for my transmiter.

thanx in advance :D

LED = Light Emitting Diode = Apx 25 Year Life Span + Requires Minimal Watts.

LED Require Very Little Power To Light And Function. You should be able to leave your LED Light on- with minimal power consumption from your battery. I set my M11x LED(Light Emitting Diode) to remain on as well. I do not know the exact watts consumed by the LED in use in the M11 & M11x model radios, though an estimated power consumption rate should be able to be determined quite simply. If you need insight into determining such a test- let me know.

PS. Basically I would disable the LED and reset the radio timer to zero. Once your fully charged LiPo reaches a set voltage- recharge your LiPo and this time set your LED to always on and reset your radio timer again for this new "Light Always On" Portion of the test. Run the fully charged radio down to the exact same voltage as the first test- and this will give you the difference in power consumption and time of use difference with the LED always on and always off. This is the way I would test the power consumption of the LED-(in terms of how much battery time or run time I lose with the LED always on) though I'm sure there are many ways to test this.

OK guys here's my .02.

I just switched to the M11X from the Futaba 3pks/Faast and could not be happier! This this is INCREDIBLE!

Ive been a Futaba guy basically since I started RC. Im so stoked on this thing and have NEVER felt so connected to my car. I used the 92744Rx that was included with the radio. I have the SSR rx and cant wait to try it.

Anybody on the manual? Also can you use AA batteries in case of emergency?
Thanks.

Where did you download the manual from?

Is it here: http://www.airtronics.net/index.php/...aitfile_id/75/

Yes, you can use AA batteries (NIMH or Akaline).

Yes. I downloaded it from that site but it won't open. I'll try it from your link.
And thanks for the AA answer.

Addendum: Still no go ganymede. Downloaded it 2X and it says the file is damaged. Thanks though.

Ok, I have just uploaded the manual here:

M11x Operating Manual - 751568.pdf

Will be on the server for 60 days and will be deleted there after, good luck!
