Anyone ever have a problem binding a receiver?

I'm using an M11x, a 92744 RX, and I am in FHS3 mode (default). I am turning the receiver on while holing the bind button, once it flashes I release the bind button from the RX and immediately send the bind command from the radio and it never binds...

I have tried dozens of times, varying timing, etc and it will not bind.

Any ideas?

hold the bind button before open the rx then bind it with the radio!

I have a Futaba S9650 servo, but I have an Airtronic M11x radio. Do I need to mess with the polarity at all? Also, can I just dremel the little thing on the side so it will fit into the receiver?

Most comfortable radio I've ever raced with- M11x.

I raced tonight at OCRC Raceway and this was my first time racing with my new M11x. I use to race with the DX3r and there is no way to explain the natural feeling of this radio in my hands. Even the foam has a kind of texture to it which is very comfortable.

I'm still using the stock NiMh 1500mah battery but have decide to buy the Thunder Power 3300mah 2cell 20c, 4c quick charge capable- liPo- which I believe weighs about 19grams more than the stock battery. I like the weight and balance of the stock battery- which is why I'm going with a larger Mah liPo to get the weight closer to the stock battery weight. The stock battery in the M11x weighs exactly 149grams. When I put the lighter weight- 2500mah 2 cell LiPo(apx 100grams) in the M11x the radio instantly felt top heavy, whereas the 149gram stock NiMh or 168gram 3300Mah TP LiPo will maintain a more natural balanced feel. I realize many racers run the very lightweight LiPo 2cell battery in their M11x(many weigh well under 100grams). I believe this is a matter of personal preference.

This radio is awesome. The only improvement I can imagine this radio ever having is the option of having a complete telemetry system which would give racers the ability to see their battery in their rc- voltage and temperature, and the motor and esc temperature as well. I believe full telemtry will be the next major technological advancement for the M11x series- because other than this radio not coming with the choice or option of telemetry- this radio is absolutely awesome. And again- it's great to race your buggy and not even once- think of the radio in your hands- at all times during my two qualifiers and my race- I was able to completely focus on my buggy and the competition. And at the end of the night- my fingers were not sore nor aching. This radio really is great :) I highly recommend this radio to both racers- and to anyone interested in buying their first rc car or truck. I'm also extremely grateful for all of the advanced settings this radio has. Especially with the steering advanced settings. Beyond anything I was aware exist- Great Work Airtronics- Great work indeed :)

Who else makes a lipo pack that fits neatly inside the battery compartment?
I had the protek pack and the battery cover scraped the pack everytime you slide it on and off so i got rid of it and The reedy pack is sold out everywhere.
