Not sure what is the plug that came with the ESC. Correct me if I am wrong, unless it came with polarized Airtronics Z connector which can only be plugged in one way only.

If the ESC came with Futaba J connector, one has to trim off the tab on the connector for it to fit into the M11x receiver (451R for me), but after trimming tab off, it becomes non polarized and you can plug it in both ways which can lead to reverse polarity. So, instead of Signal, +ve and -ve, you will get -ve, +ve and Signal...

If you plug it in backwards then it simply won't work. The polarity is not reversed as the wire sequence is generally signal, positive, and negative. If the plug is reversed, only the signal and negative wires are transferred so you're not reversing the polarity.

Thanks for clearing that up, I have no idea it won't work if plugged in backward but I won't want to give it a try just to prove it... :D

Yeah I don't know either but I really want the m11x and didn't know if I would have to buy 3 rx's:blush:

The price of Airtronics receivers is really competitive if not better than spektrum. Just sell your spektrum ones and upgrade to newer & better technology. :D

I just recieved my M11x, and I got to say: That thing is really balanced! Even with the LRP LiPo in the bottom of it, it isn't top-heavy as my 3PK was. And it is lighter to, and more comfortable.

I am going to test it out later on today.

Are these specs the standard or SSR specs?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...l-Torque-Servo

I am looking for something in the .06-.11 speed and 250+ oz. inch of torque at 6.0 volt NiMh.
A servo that is M11X SSR compatable.

I have always left my TX lipos plugged in. Not really a problem - at least if you use it regularly. If it is going to be stored for a year or so, I would probably unplug mine.

which reciver can use with M11X ?
Thank you.

I leave mine in. Unless the radio is going to sit around for 3-6 months. Which I doubt it ever will lol.

Nope... You can however set a fail safe voltage, so when the RX battery drop to a preset level the failsafe will kick in...
