Hi Guys!

I got my M11X today - First thoughts... Niiiiiice!

Have clocked up about 40 minutes of playing/looking through things in the manual, changing settings on the radio etc.

I haven't drove a car yet, hopefully tomorrow!

Now, one question I do have!

Does the 451R receiver work with HobbyWing ESC's? Anyone out there tried?

I am going to order more receivers, but don't know whether to get the 451's or 451R's..

Regards,
John.

Works fine with my HW 120a (451R)

Received my new M11X last weekend. So far, I really like this radio. Nice feel, very fast transmit time, buttons are firm enough to nearly eliminate accidental triggering, nice feel for the throttle and steering... I'll see how it performs on the track.

Only thing I'd like to have for it is an angle adapter for the wheel - ala 4PK.

...but other than that, I'm happy with it.

Now I want to go racing!

Thanks, I purchased the radio with the 451R - Which will be fine for my GP. But was curious regarding my HW ESC's in my EP cars.

Quick, simple question - I'm reading through the manual, but just can't get my head around it at this time of night- Hopefully someone has answered before I leave for a day of racing tomorrow LOL...

Basically, I want the brake to be more gradual.

Instead of

Do I adjust the rates, expo or other?

Thanks in advance.

Have you set the end points for break yet ? I have mine cut way back so when i hit full break it hardly locks up the wheels.

Otherwise break expo could do what you want but first check your end points.

[[john]] 11-20-2010 02:22 AM

Yes, end points are set, I just want it to be more gradual.

Timox 11-20-2010 02:26 AM

Hmmm ? Ok well you could try some break expo and see how that feels ? Other than that i am not sure.

Thanks Mate!

I will have to change a few things tomorrow during practice and see what works!

Thanks again :D

Yep, just bring your brake hi point epa down from 100 or where ever you have it set.

hrs mode with 451r

has anyone tried the HRS mode with a Futaba s9551 servo?
Also how about HRS mode with a tekin, i am under the impression that i am supposed to use normal mode for a tekin. Anyone try it or know for sure?

[[john]] 11-21-2010 02:32 AM

I'm running a pair of S9351's in SHR and they're performing fine.

If you're abit hesitant regarding the Tekin, just don't run that channel in SHR.

DS Motorsport 11-21-2010 08:16 AM

Putting the transmitter in SHR mode without using SHR servos or SHR compatible speedcontrollers won't make any difference!.

The only way SHR is truly engaged is with the R receiver and a SHR compatible servo or speedcontroller.

Great Pictures And Perfect Fit :)
Thank you for posting this information up. And this liPo even comes with the 5c charge rate safe wires and cells, as standard- I do believe. Great information- Thank you again :)

No need for foam and is thick enough that it does not move around in the battery slot.
