Have you tried using the Variable Rate Adjustment function? It should do pretty much exactly what you're asking for, if I understand your question correctly. You can set it so that you still get 100% servo movement but can adjust the throttle/brake/steering so that (e.g.) 40% trigger actuation equates to 100% servo movement.
Is that sorta what you're trying to achieve? any chance of a walk through on how its done |

You can put brake travel of EPA to 80% and then you must reprogram your speedo.
With this, the brake section travel are shorter and came quickly. Is this setting is still slow put a positive exponential on brake section. You can also reduce neutral range on your speedo. Cheers. not sure what went wrong but not the short travel i was thinking. could this be the speedo not bound properly or the( dumbo on the m11x) |
Help a rookie
im grabbing a M11 i know i know, i just figured you guys would know where i should start... Well i need to grab a module and rx's 2.4ghz i was wondering if any of you know what system would work best?
Thanks Daryl |
Are you getting an M11 or M11x? I'm guessing M11 as there are no modules for the M11x, nor anywhere to physically fit them, if you had a Spektrum or similar.
If it's a Spektrum module you're looking for, I actually have an M11 with a Spektrum module hard-wired (which means it was installed professionally and cannot be removed) in and even better, because the module's hard-wired, the aerial no longer pokes out the back of the TX(!!). I always hate that on any TX brand when using a plug-in rear module. On mine, the aerial is exactly where it should be, where the old extendable, metal one used to reside - awesome bonus is that the aerial is tiny, perhaps just 30mm high. If you're interested, I'd love to sell it to someone who can make good use from it. The TX has a 3s LiPo pack, either 1600 or 1850mAh, which allows for minimum 8-10+ hours use, most likely it will give about 15hours use between charges. I also have 3 Spektrum rx's included, SR300, SR3000 and an SM3001. Also included is the plastic LCD screen cover and also a carrying case. Let me know if you're interested and I can show you some pics and work out a great price that you'll be happy with.:nod: |

Hi tried this today

I know, I also can't believe I'm actually recommending to someone to read the manual to get correct and easy to understand info, but in this rare circumstance, the manual seems to be absolutely spot-on and not using "Sanglish" (that's Sanwa English). Even better still, the things they say on those 2 pages is actully all correct. That's definitely a pleasant change for the better, I just wish the rest of the manual was in such easy to understand, plain English and correct info sure helps too. Just off the top of my head, I know of at least 2 or 3 functions on the radiom, where the instruction manual gives 100% incorrect explanation or description. Case in point: the explanation for the trim setting resolution is absolutely, 100% incorrect. But on this occasion, for the Variable Rate Control, the instructions in the manual are spot on and easy to understand and follow. Give it a try and I'm pretty sure you'll have it all sorted in about 2mins.:nod: |
Hello everyone,I just bought the M11X and love it. I bought it in the USA and it has airtronics stickers on it but when I turn it on it says sanwa M11 not Airtronics which I expected, wanted, paid for,If I wanted a sanwa I would have bought 1 from over sea's. Do all the airtronics M11X say that? Is there any diff? Is there anyway to get rid of the sanwa name? Thanks for any help.

Airtronics is just the North American arm and distributor of Sanwa. Nothing more, nothing less. They don't actually design or manufacture anything, I know this because I emailed them a while back asking the same thing and why they have different specs for voltages on the outside of the packaging compared to the instructions inside the packaging. Airtronics Support told me they don't make any of the products, hence they have no control over it. |
My antenna broke, you know the bit where you can bend it to create a L shape, the pin in that snapped, so now it just holds on straight , still works but annoying when I got to bend the the antenna it comes bit lose the wire is exposed.
Any one know where to get a replacement antenna, its just a screw on and off thing isn't it? |

Any one know where to get a replacement antenna, its just a screw on and off thing isn't it? You could try slipping on a rubber o-ring to keep it from swinging. My antenna is not broke, but I'm gonna try an internal antenna like the mt-4. I just ordered a coax cable from hobbypeople.net. Airtronics told me they don't suggest it, but it should work fine. When I install it, I will take pics to show the install. |

If you're looking for a replacement and not urgent, I highly suggest buying the Kawada or Team-C M11x/4PKS mini antenna. They are SO much better looking than the original pc antenna and are around $20. I have been using one for over 6 months without a single issue related to glitching or loss of range/signal. And I never even bother to unfold it to make it upright, always keep it folded over, but our tracks in Australia are HEAPS smaller than in the US, so that's why no range issues for me with it folded over. But either way, they just look so much better than the crappy old pc antenna which comes stock, so that is why I bought one and suggest you do too.:nod: |
