AWSUM EVENT, lots of track time and very close racing with the every round grab bag motors. 4 seconds for the 5:00 min time can mean the diference between the fast guys and the also run.....

Doty, wish you were here....

The racing is close, like the friendships being forged.

TAMIYA CARS ROCK!!!!!
But somehow all the fast guys are picking all the fast motors out of the grab bag

I believe TQ has 20 laps, at least the next 10 have 19 laps.

I'm less than 19 but having a great time with some great mini drivers.

Tamiya minis, a great group of racers, and Scotty Ernst calling the races =

Marty, thanks again for your advice. See you tomorrow for 5 more races!

Sorry..I'll try to make it a better 20 tomorrow! I rolled on that run as well...could have been a lower time 20 lap run, but still cracked it. Need a little motor grab bag luck!
I am having a blast with these things!

I'd hope your position here would entail marketing research, otherwise you would be fired.

I know why someone @ Tamiya should be fired now!

Hey Brandon, I'm glad my name was not mentioned!!

What about the Tribo?

I got a bottle down here and I gave him a portion of it to replicate it. When I get it I will send you a couple of bottles. I think I'll call it "Lets fire Larry comm drops" or "Why hasn't Larry been fired yet comm drops" if any one has any suggestions of what I should call my comm drops please comment. No derogatory names toward me.

Amen. Best Mini racing I've ever seen, bar none. What an incredible weekend.

Scotty says he's going to do this every year, next year a little later- maybe the third weekend in October or first weekend in November. Word of mouth alone will make next year's race huge.

Devon, you were missed. I am sure some of the attendees would have pushed you to your A game.

Are you ready for your carpet run? If you need any carpet set-up tips, just ask. I'm sure Dave or I or someone else will help.

Good Luck over there,
Marty

It is unless some of the guys going to the Worlds start filling us in on what's happening. We haven't had an active Fall season on this thread since Neil and the guys went to Japan...

Nothing in the works at this point. There will be at least a good 10-12 day advance notice (ideally) if there will be any type of fun race.
