Does anyone know what is up for the So Cal 2008 regionals? Since the TA track is closing, where are they going to be held?

The motors were each $15 or $20 (max 2) and the batts were $25 or $30 (also max of 2). But considering the entry fee , that's not all that much money for an entire weekend of racing.

Unless you're a serious A-Main contender, you can easily get by with one of each. Lots of time between heats (literally hours) for the battery to cool down & recharge, and despite what you hear, many people can run a black can motor five times without smoking it

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Parts and tires are enroute from HK, now my two concerns are getting bodies painted and whether or not Northwest will cancel my flight

I'm going to be running a Mini at the Nationals. I understand we can purchase up to two of the black can spec motors.

Can we bring our own black cans for practice?

Same with batteries?
