Hey guys.. I guess it's a bit late to ask but I bought GT5 on a whim from Amain. Product info states engine is the same p/s/c as GX. I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts. The engine was only 100 bucks so I'm not to concerned, but I haven't heard much information on that engine. To date the best engine I've owned was a RB B10. I got 13 gallons of fuel through it before it started getting finicky. I sent it to get pinched and got lost in the mail. My current engine is Dynamite V2. Good engine, but only 5 gallons of life. I got it repinched and seems to be working good, but after only 1/2 gallon of fuel it seems to be acting goofy. What is everyones thoughts on buying the cheaper engines?

I have been running go engines the past few years and think they are great!! To date the best combo I have tried is
GX II HO .21 with Novarossi 9mm insert, werks 2058 pipe, #5 werks glow plug and M2C flywheel (no Weights)
Pipes I have ran the go 2072, werks 2013, ofna 086 and nova 9901
Power delivery is crisp and has a hard hitting electric feel to it. Very impressed with run times at 11 mins with fuel to spare
just thought i would post it if anyone wants to give it a try

Fisher king,I am running a G5T in my truggy. It is a very good motor, heaps of bottom and doesn't,t lack on the top either.
It is basically a GX5R with an updated crank, quality bearings etc.
You can expect the same life out of it as any other motor out there, just at a very low price.
I heard that GO we're discontinuing this motor,so I recommend grabbing a backup or two

It's definitely out of the GO factory with that carb and Arrow-influenced case, but it's long stroke like the newer GO's.
This is all I've found:
http://www.scanner-rc.com/specification/SEG-21Race.pdf
http://www.scanner-rc.com/specificat...21Race+DLC.pdf
I'd at least buy one just to see what it is if nothing else, but I'd like to know if there's some interchangeability. I just hope it wouldn't have the same case/front bearing problem as the first-gen Arrows... then come to find out it's a unique sleeve, so it's useless.
